My in-laws were in town last week, so we had a small get-together to celebrate.
Tomory smoked some ribs with homemade bbq sauce, I made some spicy adobo pinto beans from scratch, Madeleine made cornbread and collard greens, Max made a salad with radishes, romaine and creme fraiche (and brought some killer wines--one from 1980!!) and Hadley made a peach cobbler.
A perfect summer evening: friends, family, and great food. It was also the evening of the supermoon--and the skies were particularly beautiful that night.
